Integrating Education, Health and Higher Consciousness:
All academy courses, diplomas and programs are based on the fact that education, health and higher consciousness are all intimately connected. The academy therefore incorporates the Science of Consciousness (Science of Unity) and Mind Body Medicine in all educational and health programs.
Knowledge of consciousness (the 'field' of Unity),
is knowledge of the inner most 'field' of life,
- it is the most valuable of all knowledge
- for it is the origin of ALL energy, peace, wisdom, love and happiness in life.
In times of darkness we crave the Light
we ache for the Light to the depths of our Being
(and yet it is often just a feeling, a longing
we don’t even have the words to describe)
The Forest Academy is this Beacon of Light
The Light of Knowledge and Life
The Light of Compassion and Understanding
The Light of Guidance and Support
The Flow of Light – The Flow of Love
UPCOMING COURSES beginning in September 2011:

Ayurveda

Enlightenment
Every 200 or 300 hour course describe below includes FREE instruction ($1250.00 value) in Samadhi Meditation and a Weekend Residence Course ($395 value) as described below.
Samadhi Meditation (Buddhi Yoga): The Meditation of Self-Realization and Psycho-Neurological Integration
Practice of a Deep Meditation or Ascension Technique is essential along with participation in any course. If you have not learned a Deep Meditation or Ascension Technique (which includes innocence, surrender and non-resistance), then Samadhi Meditation will be offered to you free with participation in any 200/300 hour program.
Without the conscious experience of the core of our being - the 'State of Unity', health improvements and understanding of the course material will not be as profound and the course will not fulfil its intended purpose of awakening higher consciousness!
Samadhi Meditation (or Buddhi Yoga) is the ultimate in vibrational medicine - using the vehicle of thought (the highest manifestation of prana / chi / ki / etc.) and primordial sound (mantra) suited to the individual. It is the highest form of meditation because it directly leads to Self-Awakening - the experience of 'Buddha Consciousness' - the experience of wholeness in the super-conscious state of samadhi. This is the 'Path of the Self' where our awareness is guided by the Self back to It’s Source. This experience fine tunes the intimate connections between body, mind, spirit and brings the qualities of pure consciousness (energy, wisdom, love) to meet the challenges of everyday life. This technique releases stress, anxiety, fatigue; increases energy, alertness, creativity and lifts every aspect of life to a higher level.
Weekend Residential Program: To Accelerate Awakening of Higher Consciousness:
This weekend residence course offers an oasis; a time and place to deepen one’s knowledge and experience of wholeness; an opportunity to accelerate personal awakening and growth; to return home in a better state of well being.
This is a unique opportunity to:
• Experience the deep rest necessary to release accumulated stress and fatigue.
• Learn more of the practice and philosophy of Yoga, Meditation and Mind Body Medicine.
• Just let the gentle routine carry you through the weekend and leave restored, refreshed and rejuvenated

“ENLIGHTENMENT” Part 1: Paths, Stages, Descriptions - 200 Diploma Credit Hours
• A must for graduate yoga teachers and all seekers of enlightenment
• A must for anyone involved in some way in the ‘Human Potential’ movement.
The sole purpose of human birth is to awaken to our infinite potential (Infinite Power, Wisdom and Love). With awakening comes the realization of who we are and why we are here. With proper guidance, awakening is not difficult. Enlightenment, “a felt oneness with Being”, requires satisfying the needs of both the heart (chitta) and intellect (buddhi) - to live this Higher Reality in the midst of our daily earthly living, requires that one firstly and consciously experiences Spirit Self, (the Transcendent, the Ascendent) and also understands and comprehends what that experience is. Therefore to gain maximum awakening, (progress towards living Buddha Consciousness, Perpetual Consciousness and beyond) in this course requires the seeker of enlightenment to be as regular as possible in his/her home practice of Samadhi Meditation (also referred to as Buddhi Yoga in the scriptures) – or a similar Path of Deep Meditation or Ascension (which inlcudes innocence, surrender, non-resistance). Although, at first glance this course may appear complicated – it is not. Once we get beyond the complications that the mind has created, we will discover that understanding and living life to its fullest is simple. “When you realize how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky”…..Buddha. Bring ALL your yearnings and questions.
Some Topics Include:
• In-depth yogic experience and yoga philosophy – The science and philosophy of Divine Union.
• Bringing Heaven on Earth: A Comparative study of the varied ‘Paths to Enlightenment’ (Eastern and Western) - Physiological, Meditative (Contemplating, Concentrating, Ascending, Transcending), Selfless Service, Devotional, Intellectual, Chanting, Decreeing, Prayer, Renunciation, Fasting, Penance, True Control, Desperation, etc.
• The New Humanity: Stages and Descriptions of Higher States of Consciousness: The nature of the individual mind (ego) and its termination - this will make most present day studies of the mind (psychology, personality studies, etc.) obsolete. The ascent to Being, Nirvana, Samadhi, Satori, Presence, Kingdom of Heaven within, etc. and its Nature. Descriptions and Characteristics of different states of consciousness: Self-Realization, Buddha Consciousness, Perpetual Consciousness, Cosmic Consciouness, Christ Consciousness (I and the Creator are One), God Consciousness, Exalted Consciousness, Unity (Unified) Consciousness (I and the Impersonal God are One), etc.
• Study of: Shankara’s Advaitism, Bhagavad Gita, ‘Path of the Masters’, Jesus the Christ, Paramahansa Yogananda, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras by MSI of the Ishayas, Rudolf Steiner, Eckhart Tolle and the ‘Eternal Now’, Meher Baba (Sufism Reoriented), and many others. Note that all True Masters speak from the same source and therefore share the same message of Truth, but clothed in different words to suit the people of the time.
• The beginning, evolution and dissolution of Creation: The Force of Evolution as the ‘will-to-be-conscious’ throughout the five Kingdoms of Nature (Mineral, Plant, Animal, Human and Angelic Kingdoms).
• Reincarnation and the Force of Karma: The significance of death, hell, heaven.
